Frequently Asked Questions

What is Vertigo Collective?

Vertigo Collective is an independent queer and BIPOC-owned clothing brand and creative collective founded by artist Lily Kurtz. Every collection is rooted in art, alternative culture, and community, with a mission to create meaningful work that gives back.

Where does my money go?

100% of profits are reinvested into Vertigo Collective's mission of building a sober living home for artists in recovery.

Our vision is to create a safe, affordable, and creatively enriching home where artists can pursue recovery while continuing to make art, build careers, and support one another.

Who designs the clothing?

Every piece is designed by Lily Kurtz.

Around 80% of our graphics feature Lily's original photography, transformed into wearable artwork through custom graphic design. Each collection reflects his artistic practice, drawing inspiration from queer identity, punk culture, gothic aesthetics, photography, and contemporary art.

What size should I order?

Most garments feature an oversized, unisex fit. Please refer to the size guide on each product page before ordering.

How should I care for my clothing?

Wash cold, inside out, with similar colors. Hang dry whenever possible to preserve the artwork and extend the life of the garment.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We ship worldwide. Shipping rates and delivery times are calculated at checkout.

What is your return policy?

All sales are final. Because many of our products are produced in limited quantities, we cannot accept returns or exchanges unless an item arrives damaged or incorrect.

How can I support Vertigo Collective besides purchasing clothing?

Every purchase directly supports our mission, but you can also help by sharing our work, attending community events, donating to our sober living initiative, or collaborating with us as an artist.

Why recovery?

Vertigo Collective believes creativity and recovery can thrive together. Our goal is to remove barriers that prevent artists from healing while continuing to create. Every order helps bring us one step closer to opening a sober living home where artists can find stability, community, and the space to make meaningful work.

Thank you for being part of that vision.
